Meet Dr. Jodie May (Cross Roads, TX)

Jodie May, O.D., received her Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, School of Optometry. Dr. May graduated from the undergraduate program in 2014 and has been practicing optometry since 2021.

Dr. May decided to become an optometrist because of her own experience wearing glasses. She was the only one in her family who needed glasses, and she remembers how much they helped her. This experience inspired her to become an optometrist so she could help others in the same way.

One of Dr. May's favorite things about being an optometrist is seeing how eyecare, glasses, and contacts can make a positive difference in people's lives, no matter their age. She feels very happy when she sees the positive changes in her patients' lives because of her care and expertise.

Dr. Kirkland has been my outstanding Optometrist for the past 9 years at the Plano location. He ret... ired earlier this year, so I started going to Total Eyecare in Aubrey. So far they have been Phenomenal even though no one can take the place of Dr. Kirkland.
